Forest Fire in Bursa: Flames Grow Due to Wind

A forest fire has broken out in Bursa's Nilüfer district!
The fire started around 1:30 PM in the forested area of Başköy. The flames quickly grew due to the wind, prompting numerous fire crews to be dispatched after citizens reported the situation.
According to the Bursa Forest Regional Directorate, 92 personnel, 2 planes, 4 helicopters, 11 fire trucks, and 12 service vehicles are involved in the firefighting efforts. Teams are working hard to bring the fire under control.

As the fire grew, support teams from surrounding provinces were also dispatched. Firefighting efforts continue from both air and ground.
In such disasters, taking preventive measures for nature conservation and fire prevention is of great importance. The efforts of the firefighting teams are commendable.
