The AKP has made a scary announcement regarding pension increases. The inflation data to be announced on July 3 will determine the increases in pension salaries.

The increase rate for over 16 million pensioners will only reflect on the base salaries of SSK and Bağ-Kur pensioners. This means many pensioners may not see any increase in their salaries.

AKP Group Leader Abdullah Güler responded to the uncertainties about the lowest pension salary increase. Güler stated, "It is not on the agenda right now. We have not had any discussions."

Last year, pensioners closed the year with a single increase. If the Grand National Assembly of Turkey goes on holiday on July 1, the increase in the lowest pension salary will again be postponed to January.

The increase rate for pensioners will be clarified with the inflation data announced on July 3. On this date, the increases in pension salaries will also be finalized.
