During the meeting of the General Assembly chaired by Deputy Speaker Bekir Bozdağ, discussions arose regarding the one-minute speaking time for deputies. Zengin suggested that these times should be abolished altogether.

CHP Group Deputy Başarır reacted to Zengin's proposal, stating that this is an attempt to silence 600 deputies, calling it despotism. Zengin argued that more time should be allocated for speeches.

Zengin emphasized that increasing speaking times would enhance the effectiveness of the parliament. He pointed out that one minute is insufficient for deputies to express their views.
