CHP's Sümer: Corruption and Border Security Concerns

CHP Adana deputy Orhan Sümer emphasized the irregularities in institutions managed by the AKP. He stated that the annual reports submitted to the Parliament have turned into archives of corruption.
Sümer said, "If the government is looking for corruption, they should look at the Court of Accounts reports," indicating that operations are being carried out against CHP municipalities for political reasons.
Sümer questioned whether individual rights and freedoms could be protected while ensuring cybersecurity in Turkey. He pointed out that individual rights are at risk under the AKP administration.
"If even a shoeshiner in Turkey fears that their phone is being tapped, who will ensure cybersecurity?" he expressed his concerns about security.
Sümer stressed that Turkey's current cybersecurity infrastructure needs to be solid. Otherwise, other systems cannot operate seamlessly.
