The landslide disaster in the Black Sea resulted in the loss of three lives from the same family. This incident in Samsun's Canik district highlights the seriousness of climate change and the lack of necessary precautions in the region.

CHP Vice President Deniz Yavuzyılmaz criticized the government's indifference, stating, "The Black Sea has been on alert for years." He emphasized that necessary precautions are not being taken.

Yavuzyılmaz pointed out that the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change favors profit over science. He noted that the 2019 Black Sea Climate Change Action Plan has not been implemented.

He expressed that disasters continue to increase, stating, "The AK Party's approach to disasters is more about managing them rather than preventing them." This has led to ecological disasters in the region.
