Yavaş stated, "The press is free and cannot be censored. Appointing a trustee to TELE 1 before the completion of the expression procedures means a de facto punishment before the trial process is completed."

Yavaş also reacted to the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu, emphasizing the need to adhere to the fundamental principles of law. "If you are really seeking justice, you must first adhere to the fundamental principles of law," he said.

Mansur Yavaş stated that the operations against CHP municipalities are a form of political pressure and that they will resist such practices. "We will resist every unlawful act. We will not bow down," he expressed.
