Devlet Bahçeli announced the details of the 500 thousand social housing project. This project aims to provide housing for low-income families across Turkey.

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change announced that a total of 500 thousand social houses will be built in 81 provinces. The project aims to provide housing for 2 million people.

In Istanbul, 100 thousand, in Ankara 30 thousand, and in Izmir 21 thousand houses will be constructed. The project will offer special quotas for martyrs' families, veterans, and the disabled.

Applications will be made between November 10 and December 19, 2025. The houses are expected to be delivered starting March 2027.

The Ministry stated that the details of the social housing project will be announced by President Erdoğan. This project is seen as an important part of the Turkey Century.
