A storm and heavy rain warning has been issued for Istanbul!

Following warnings from Meteorology and AKOM, a 'Yellow Code' alert has been issued in Istanbul. Heavy rainfall is expected to intensify in the evening hours. Schools closed at 4 PM.

IGDAŞ reminded its subscribers to take precautions for safe natural gas usage. It emphasized the need to keep vents open and to turn off gas appliances before sleeping.

A warning for heavy rain has also been issued for Ankara and surrounding areas. Citizens are advised to be cautious of sudden floods, water logging, and lightning.

In Izmir, warnings have been issued by AFAD and the governorate regarding heavy rain and the risk of tornadoes. Citizens must take precautions and heed the warnings from authorities.
