Water Crisis in Ankara: Citizens Waiting for Tap Water

The water crisis in Ankara continues! For 9 days, there has been no water from the taps, and citizens are forming long queues at the fountains.
In the Yakupabdal neighborhood of Çankaya, people are waiting with bottles and jugs at the fountains due to the water cuts. Similar issues are being faced in Mamak. Citizens are waiting for the water tankers to arrive to meet their needs.

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality announced that the reason for the water cuts is a pipe failure in the Kesikköprü line. Mayor Mansur Yavaş stated that efforts are ongoing to find a solution to the water crisis.
