Recently, the poster crisis in Elazığ has reignited discussions about AKP media and RTÜK oversight.

Members of the Furkan Foundation attempted to hang posters for a conference scheduled for October 10. However, the Elazığ Municipality's Zabıta teams intervened, claiming the posters were unauthorized, leading to a brief scuffle.

While MHP's posters were allowed on the same overpasses, CHP's posters were removed. Citizens reacting on social media emphasized that rules should apply equally to everyone.

The opposition considers the municipality's actions as contrary to the principle of constitutional equality. CHP officials described this situation as a clear political bias.
