Mansur Yavaş Emphasizes Justice and Democracy

Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş delivered significant messages regarding justice and democracy. On the anniversary of the September 12 coup, he emphasized that no power is above the will of the people.
Yavaş stated, "The coup of September 12, 1980, which disregarded the people's will and the rule of law, is a dark stain in our democracy history."

He pointed out that without justice, there can be no unity or brotherhood, stating, "The struggle of families seeking justice is a moral obligation for all of us."
Yavaş commemorated the 25 lives lost in the Çorlu train disaster and demanded that those responsible be brought to justice.
He reiterated his commitment to fight for justice and stand by the people, stating, "Let us not forget; no power is above the will of the people."
