CHP Chairman Özgür Özel responded to MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's recent statements. Bahçeli criticized Özel's words, saying, 'my coalition partner, you understand.'

Özel evaluated Bahçeli's remarks about Selahattin Yılmaz, stating, 'I did not call anyone a hired killer; those who spread this slander should be held accountable by Bahçeli.'

Bahçeli supported Yılmaz, stating, 'He is my comrade and friend.' Özel criticized this stance, referring to Yılmaz as 'the  apple of MHP's eye.'

Özel remarked, 'Bahçeli's statements are part of a political setup,' highlighting the increasing tension in politics as eyes turn to the relationship between the two leaders.
