Recent rescue operations in the Aegean Sea have drawn attention.

Off the coast of Karaburun in Izmir, 36 migrants attempting to reach the Greek islands faced peril when their rubber boat's engine failed. As the boat began to take on water due to the storm, the coast guard teams intervened just in time to rescue them.

The migrants were reported to be in good health and will be handed over to the Provincial Migration Administration. Such incidents highlight the challenges faced by migrants in the Aegean Sea.

Additionally, a similar rescue operation was conducted off the coast of Bodrum, where 20 migrants were saved from a boat that had engine failure. These incidents illustrate the risks migrants take in their attempts to reach Europe.
