According to the new regulation published in the Official Gazette, it is now mandatory to install cameras and tracking systems in vehicles. This change was made to enhance safety and ensure traceability.

According to the new regulation, vehicles from the 2025-2023 model year must comply by January 1, 2026, 2022-2018 models by January 1, 2027, and 2017 and older models by January 1, 2028.

Vehicle owners must procure the necessary devices and complete the installation process to comply with the new regulation. The prices for vehicle cameras start at 1,500 TL and can go up to 25,000 TL.

Additionally, tracking devices start at 3,000 TL and can reach up to 20,000 TL. Vehicle owners have been given a 30-day period for the installation of these devices.

This new regulation aims to enhance the safety of both drivers and passengers. It is crucial for vehicle owners to pay attention to these changes.
