CHP leader Özgür Özel shared an important message on the 61st anniversary of TRT.

Özel stated that TRT should be a public broadcaster funded by the people's money. However, he expressed that this long-established institution has turned into a political party's operational channel.

Özgür Özel said, "TRT is 61 years old. How happy! We are not celebrating. We are reminding: TRT belongs to the nation." With this message, he emphasized that the true owners of TRT are the people.

He also celebrated the 1st of May Labor Day for TRT workers and stated that he would remind those who closed the screen to the nation and opened it to lies.
