The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for heavy rainfall and flooding across Turkey. Temperatures are expected to drop by 3-5 degrees.

In northeastern Anatolia, snow and mixed rain are expected, while heavy rainfall will occur in the Eastern Black Sea region. This situation increases the risk of floods and landslides.

A strong wind warning has been issued for the western Marmara region. Citizens are advised to be cautious of risks such as roof blow-offs and tree falls.

With the drop in temperatures, especially in the Eastern Black Sea and Ordu regions, precautions should be taken against sudden floods and waterlogging.

Meteorology has specifically warned about heavy rainfall in Artvin, Ordu, Samsun, Giresun, Rize, and Trabzon. Residents in these areas need to be vigilant.
