The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a rain alert for the northern and western regions of the country. What will the weather be like?

Today, rain is expected in the Aegean Coast, Istanbul, Sakarya, Bursa, and several other provinces. Temperatures in the west are expected to be around seasonal norms, while other regions will be above normal.

Winds are expected to be generally light from the south, occasionally moderate. There are currently no active meteorological warnings for today.

The Marmara Region is expected to be partly and very cloudy, while the Aegean Region will experience downpours. The Mediterranean and Central Anatolia regions will be partly and slightly cloudy.

The Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia regions are expected to be clear and open. However, it is noted that the rains may be locally strong.
