Drought is threatening our water resources! The Sherbettar Pond has completely dried up, negatively impacting agricultural production.

Cengiz Sümek, the village head, stated that due to drought, animals have not been able to drink water and costs have increased. This year, animals did not drink from the pond.

Producers have had to search for alternative water sources. Ozan Yavuz expressed that the pond has never dried up before and this year they walked on its bottom.

Drought is affecting not only livestock but also agricultural production. Producer Kubilay Ordo noted that hot weather has consumed water resources.

This situation has become a serious problem for those living in rural areas. The decrease in water resources threatens agricultural productivity.
