Arrest Warrant Issued for Assad in Syria

An arrest warrant has been issued for Assad in Syria!
Judge Tevfik el-Ali of the Syrian 7th Investigation Court stated that the charges against Assad include murder, torture, and deprivation of liberty. This decision can be internationally disseminated and allows for external tracking.
Assad ignited the public movements in Syria following the events that began in Dera in 2011. Security forces detained young people for writing anti-regime slogans, subjecting them to torture.
French courts had also issued arrest warrants against Assad. This decision paves the way for the prosecution of those responsible for systematic violations.
The events in Dera, which marked the beginning of the Syrian civil war and humanitarian crisis, drew significant public backlash and led to mass protests.
