Storm Disaster in Mugla: Roofs Blown Off, Minarets Destroyed

A storm in Mugla has blown off roofs and destroyed minarets. Citizens struggled to walk in the streets during the storm.
The General Directorate of Meteorology had issued warnings for strong winds and storms in 13 provinces, including Mugla. The storm began to show its effects in the evening and continued throughout the night.
The dome of the Alaattin Yalçın Mosque in Düğerek Mahallesi was blown off. Mehmet Pehlivan stated, "I have never seen such a wind, roofs flew off, my balcony was destroyed."
Teams have started damage assessment work in the area. Additionally, similar incidents occurred in Elazığ and Aydın due to the storm.

The storm affected not only Mugla but also the Aegean region. In Aydın, trees were blown down, and streets were covered in debris. Citizens are urged to be cautious following this natural disaster.
