A forest fire has broken out in Bursa! Teams are mobilized and intervention is ongoing.

In the Nilüfer district, the fire started around 1:30 PM in the Başköy neighborhood and quickly spread due to the wind. Firefighters and teams from the Forest Management were dispatched after nearby residents reported the fire.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Teams are working hard to control the flames. A total of 92 personnel, 2 planes, 4 helicopters, and 11 water tankers are involved in the response efforts.

The Bursa Forest Management stated that they are intervening from both the air and ground to prevent the fire from spreading further. Efforts will continue until the fire is under control.
