In Eskişehir, 10 forest workers and AKUT personnel lost their lives while intervening in a fire. This situation highlights the dangers of wildfires once again.

According to the Fire Weather Index (FWI) data, the risk of forest fires in the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia has reached critical levels. Caution is advised in these regions.

Experts indicate that the fire danger is very high, especially in the Eastern Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia regions. This situation can lead to even the smallest spark turning into large fires.
