Breaking news! Meteorology has warned of a heatwave. This heat will last for 5 days and will affect many parts of our country.

The northeastern parts of our country are expected to be partly cloudy, while other areas will be mostly clear and sunny. Temperatures will remain above seasonal norms.

Cengiz Çelik stated that temperatures will rise by 1 to 4 degrees and will continue this way for the next 4-5 days. Especially on Friday and Saturday, temperatures may rise by 2-4 degrees.

In Ankara, temperatures will range from 33-34, in Istanbul from 30-32, and in Izmir from 34-37 degrees. These temperatures pose a risk, especially for the elderly and those with chronic illnesses.

Warnings have been issued to be cautious during hot weather. It is especially recommended not to be outside between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Meteorology reported that temperatures exceeding 35 degrees will be observed across the country due to the heatwave. Citizens are advised to drink plenty of water and stay in the shade.
