The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched a major operation against the Gündoğmuş gang. 22 individuals have been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.

The operation targeted a gang led by Uğurcan Gündoğmuş, who is based abroad. The gang has been linked to 11 armed incidents.

On June 17, the Istanbul Police conducted simultaneous operations, resulting in the arrest of 22 suspects. It was found that these individuals were already in prison for other crimes.
