New Lawsuit Against TÜSİAD Presidents

A new lawsuit has been filed against the two presidents of TÜSİAD!
The President of the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TÜSİAD), Orhan Turan, and the Chairman of the High Advisory Council, Mehmet Ömer Arif Aras, are facing charges of attempting to influence fair trial processes. The indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office states that the two have created perceptions regarding various legal issues.
The indictment claims that Turan and Aras have caused public concern and distrust. They are accused of acting against the principle of the rule of law by emphasizing fair trial principles.
The prosecution has requested that Turan and Aras be fined for at least 50 days. The indictment has been sent to the same court, and a decision has been made to combine the two trials.
The TÜSİAD presidents are set to appear before the judge on May 20. This lawsuit is considered a significant development in Turkey's business world.
