Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced a new railway line between Siirt and Kurtalan.

This project will strengthen Siirt's transportation infrastructure and contribute to the region's economic development. Uraloğlu stated, "We will reduce travel time to 14 minutes with this project."

Additionally, we aim to save 206 million lira annually and reduce harmful carbon emissions by 2,541 tons.

Uraloğlu also mentioned that the Siirt-Kurtalan New Railway Project has been included in the 2025 investment program, with the tender scheduled for May 28.
