Ekrem İmamoğlu sent a support message to tea producers. He stated that he closely follows tea prices and urged them not to let their rights be taken away.

Imamoğlu addressed tea producers through CHP Rize MP Tahsin Ocaklı. He highlighted the difficulties of the tea season and emphasized the need for producers to protect their rights.

Tahsin Ocaklı, who visited detained mayors and students at Silivri Prison, conveyed Imamoğlu's message to tea producers, stating, 'I will be your follower.'

Imamoğlu noted that he followed the issues faced by tea producers last year. It is anticipated that this year's yield will be significantly low.

He expressed that tea producers have suffered significant losses and warned that if prices are not set at 35 TL, farmers may have to abandon agriculture.

Imamoğlu also sent a handwritten message to tea producers, saying, 'Do not let your rights be taken away, do not let our will be usurped.'
