On April 19, 2025, earthquakes occurred in various parts of Turkey. According to the latest data from AFAD, tremors were recorded in provinces such as Aydın, Mersin, Diyarbakır, and Malatya. Notable earthquakes include the 1.3 magnitude in Köşk (Aydın) and 2.0 magnitude in the Aegean Sea.

The earthquakes caused panic among citizens. Authorities stated that necessary precautions are being taken according to the magnitude and depth of the earthquakes. Aftershocks are particularly being felt in Malatya and Kahramanmaraş.
