The number of billionaires in Europe and Turkey's position in this regard is quite striking. Which countries are leading?

According to Forbes' 2025 data, Germany tops the list with 171 billionaires. The total net worth of these billionaires amounts to 676.4 billion euros. Germany's richest individual, Dieter Schwarz, ranks 37th globally with 35 billion euros.

Italy ranks second with 74 billionaires. The total wealth of Italian billionaires is 289 billion euros, with Giovanni Ferrero at the top, ranking 41st globally with 32.6 billion euros.

The UK comes in third with 55 billionaires. The total wealth of the UK is 203 billion euros, with Michael Platt being the richest at 16 billion euros, ranking 106th globally.

Turkey ranks 8th in Europe with 32 billionaires. After this point, there is a sharp decline in the number of billionaires. For instance, Norway has 17, Greece 16, and the Netherlands 13 billionaires.

Germany, Italy, the UK, France, and Sweden host 61% of the billionaires in Europe. It is observed that there is a significant correlation between economic size and the number of billionaires.

The UBS 2024 Billionaire Targets Report shows that Germany remains the leader, but the number of billionaires is set at 117. In this report, Switzerland ranks second with 85 billionaires, and the UK third with 82 billionaires.
