Attention to Nepotism in Universities!

Allegations of nepotism in universities have come to the forefront!
At Çanakkale 18 Mart University, Rector Cüneyt Erenoğlu purchased 270,000 lira worth of olive oil from a company co-owned by his wife. This raises questions about the use of public resources.

This incident recalls the previous disinfectant purchase scandal involving former Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, who bought disinfectants worth 9 million lira from a company co-owned by her husband. Such nepotism undermines the sense of justice in society.

The university administration's response to this issue is eagerly awaited. Public sensitivity to such incidents should increase.
