Elon Musk and Starlink: What's Happening in Space?

Elon Musk's Starlink project is creating a revolution in space. However, this revolution also brings some concerns.

Since 2019, SpaceX has placed over 8,000 satellites into orbit. However, it is reported that 1 to 2 Starlink satellites fall to Earth every day. This situation poses a risk of pollution in space.

Experts state that the average lifespan of Starlink satellites is five years, and expired satellites are directed to Earth in a controlled manner. However, the metal residues and chemicals released during this process could lead to pollution in the upper atmosphere.

The FAA predicts that by 2035, 28,000 pieces of Starlink debris could re-enter the atmosphere each year. This situation increases the likelihood of a person dying from falling space debris to 61%.

Elon Musk panicked due to the outages related to Starlink. Users are experiencing disruptions in internet access while the Starlink team investigates the situation.

Starlink stands out as an important communication tool, especially in areas with weak internet infrastructure. However, the outages raise questions about the reliability of this service.
