Weather warnings have been issued for the Aegean Sea and the Balkans. Heavy rainfall is expected.

The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that heavy downpours will occur in the western parts of the country. Rainfall is expected to be very strong in the Marmara, Aegean, and Western Mediterranean regions.

Temperatures are expected to drop by 3 to 5 degrees in the western regions, while remaining above seasonal norms in other areas. Therefore, it is important for citizens to be cautious and heed the warnings from authorities.

Strong wind warnings have also been issued for Central Anatolia, Eastern Black Sea, and Northern Eastern Anatolia. Rain is expected across much of Turkey until Friday.
