Ekrem İmamoğlu clarified the claims following October 1st.

Imamoğlu, who is detained in Silivri Prison, stated, "There is no salvation alone, either we all together or none of us," addressing the claims that emerged in the parliament.

He emphasized that the current government targets not only the CHP but the entire democracy and called for unity in the struggle.

Imamoğlu also commented on the situation of Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ, stating they should not be in prison. He stressed the importance of justice as the backbone of society.

He concluded with, "We are not being judged; we are being punished directly!" calling for justice to be served.
