Durmaz emphasized that one of the biggest problems for farmers is the rising production costs. He noted that there are excessive increases in every category from diesel to fertilizer, medicine to electricity.

The future of agriculture is alarming. The average age of farmers is rising rapidly, and young people are moving away from farming. This situation threatens our ability to produce our own food in the future.

Durmaz stressed the need for improving living conditions in rural areas to retain young people in farming. He advocated for providing support to young farmers.

He also highlighted the importance of empowering women farmers, stating that special incentive programs and social security should be provided for female producers.
