The Turkish Grand National Assembly has approved the national parks bill!

This bill includes significant regulations for the protection of national parks. The General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks will be able to establish revolving fund enterprises where necessary.

Additionally, hotels and accommodation facilities will be allowed in national park areas. However, this will be under strict supervision to protect the ecological balance.

Those who disrupt the ecological balance in national parks can face imprisonment of 1 to 3 years and fines of up to 5,000 days. This is a significant step for environmental protection!

Moreover, penalties for hunting in prohibited areas will increase from 200 lira to 20,000 lira. This is seen as an important step towards protecting nature.
