İmamoğlu stated that the government's preference for closed-door negotiations undermines democratic participation and negatively impacts Turkey's international relations.

Finally, he expressed that Turkey is at a crossroads and that it is essential to rebuild democratic institutions. İmamoğlu declared that he would lead this process as the CHP's presidential candidate.
