Historic Summit in the US: Azerbaijan and Armenia Agree on Peace

The US hosted a historic summit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met at the White House.
President Trump welcomed the two leaders and stated, "We have succeeded in establishing peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia." This presents a historic opportunity for the region.
The two leaders stated that the signing of the joint declaration opened the door to a new era. Aliyev thanked Trump, saying, "Today we are establishing peace in the Caucasus."
Pashinyan expressed that this agreement would pave the way to end the conflict between the two countries. Trump also announced that the Zangezur Corridor would become operational.
Aliyev and Pashinyan also announced that they would nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, highlighting his contribution to international peace.
