Reactions Grow Against CHP Mayor Umut Yılmaz

In Gaziantep, CHP council member Ali Güdücü harshly criticized Mayor Umut Yılmaz. Güdücü claimed that Yılmaz pressured workers.
During his speech at the council, Güdücü addressed the pressures faced by workers regarding union changes. He argued that transitions to HAK-İŞ were forced.

Güdücü stated that Yılmaz pressured him to resign and he refused. "I am a council member elected by the legitimate votes of the CHP, I do not sell out!" he declared.
He also emphasized that workers were threatened with their livelihoods and that such pressures were unacceptable. Güdücü expressed that the workers did not make their union choices freely.
This incident further escalates the political atmosphere in Gaziantep, revealing divisions within the CHP as Güdücü's statements come to light.
