In the election for the deputy mayor of Adıyaman, CHP's Ufuk Bayır was elected with 22 votes.

The election was held following the dismissal of Abdurrahman Tutdere by the Ministry of Interior. Bayır thanked the council members who supported him.

In his speech, Bayır stated, "Our Municipal Council has elected a new deputy mayor within the framework of democratic traditions. We acted as a whole to respect the will of the people of Adıyaman,".

This process concluded based on respect for the will of the people of Adıyaman. Bayır also thanked the members of other political parties who supported him.
