CHP leader Özgür Özel announced the need for a raise in minimum wage in July. Will this raise alleviate the financial struggles of workers?

Özgür Özel stated during a group meeting that the minimum wage should be increased from 22,000 TL to 30,205 TL. He noted that while this increase wouldn't allow minimum wage workers to celebrate, it would provide them with some relief.

During his visit to HAK-İŞ, Özel emphasized that it is unacceptable for the minimum wage not to be raised in July. He stressed the need for the Minimum Wage Determination Commission to convene immediately.

CHP continues to hold rallies demanding a raise in minimum wage. Özgür Özel highlighted the determination in this struggle and pointed out that the minimum wage has eroded.

Özgür Özel stated that they will collaborate with unions in determining the minimum wage and will continue to fight for this cause. He emphasized that the government should not ignore this situation.
