Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç held an important meeting with the DEM Party delegation. This meeting focused on the issues of sick detainees in prisons and the problems arising from current practices.

The meeting took place at the Ministry of Justice and lasted approximately 40 minutes. DEM Party Group Vice President Sezai Temelli stated after the meeting that there are serious issues in prisons.

Temelli emphasized that the situation of sick detainees is a priority and expressed hopes for urgent solutions. Minister Tunç also mentioned that he is continuing to work on this issue.

During the meeting, mutual consultations were held regarding the practical problems in prisons. Temelli noted that these issues could be resolved through application rather than legal regulations.
