Forest Fires in Izmir: Teams are Responding

Forest fires in Izmir are being controlled by rapid intervention from teams. The fire started at 16:28 in Ilıca neighborhood and quickly escalated, prompting immediate action from the Izmir Forest Regional Directorate.
Fires also broke out in the Dikili district. The fire between Çandarlı and Denizköy neighborhoods required swift intervention due to its proximity to residential areas. Teams are responding to the fire from both air and ground.

To control the fires, 3 planes, 4 helicopters, 22 fire trucks, and 6 water supply vehicles are being used. Teams are making every effort to contain the fire before it spreads to residential areas.

The Izmir Forest Regional Directorate has mobilized all its teams to control the fires. An investigation has been launched regarding the causes of the fires.
