Heat Wave Approaching! Istanbul to Reach 35 Degrees

A heat wave is affecting Turkey!
According to the predictions of the General Directorate of Meteorology, temperatures will significantly increase in the new week. Starting from Tuesday, temperatures will reach 35 degrees in major cities like Istanbul, Izmir, and Adana.
Ankara will see 34, Istanbul 35, Izmir 39, and Aydın will reach 44 degrees. Meteorology advises that those with chronic illnesses, the elderly, and children should avoid being outdoors between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
The Marmara region is expected to be partly cloudy and clear. Strong winds are anticipated from the north and northeast. Similar weather conditions are expected in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions.
With the rise in temperatures, it is emphasized that special care should be taken for children and the elderly. They are advised not to go outside between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Due to the heat wave, the risk of forest fires may also increase in the coming days. Therefore, it is crucial for citizens to remain vigilant.
