Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel made a strong response to trustee claims. In his speech at the parliamentary group meeting, he stated, 'Today's victims are tomorrow's power.'

Özel criticized the transfer of CHP mayors to the judiciary, emphasizing that this is a campaign of discrediting. He stated, 'We have seen this movie before.'

Özgür Özel also noted that the trustee claims have not weakened the CHP but rather united it further. He declared, 'We will not leave Atatürk's party to anyone.'

He emphasized that the party stands strong with its 2 million members and will resist such attacks.

Finally, Özel concluded his speech by stating, 'We will not surrender this party to trustees. We are here, and we will continue to fight.'
