AKP Deputy Criticizes Minister Yerlikaya Before Eid

Criticism following Minister Yerlikaya's statements.

Former AKP deputy Şamil Tayyar sharply criticized Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya's traffic measures ahead of the holiday, stating, 'The state does not set traps for its citizens.'

Minister Yerlikaya announced traffic measures for Eid al-Adha. However, Tayyar argued that these measures have turned into a collection campaign.

Yerlikaya stated that there is a radar every 30 kilometers and that these measures are taken to prevent loss of life. However, Tayyar expressed that this situation increases social anger.

Tayyar remarked, 'Speed limits and radar placements suggest a collection campaign rather than traffic control.'

Minister Yerlikaya's statements have the potential to create a new social reaction, which could disrupt the list of priority issues.
