Today, rain continues across Turkey. What will the weather be like?

According to the statements from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly and mostly cloudy, with rain and thunderstorms in the eastern Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, and parts of Central Anatolia.

Temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees in the eastern regions, while no significant changes are expected elsewhere. Winds are forecasted to generally come from the north.

In Istanbul, temperatures are expected to be around 21°C, 28°C in Izmir, and 24°C in Antalya. Heavy rain is particularly expected in the Southern Aegean and Western Mediterranean regions.

Rain is expected to be locally heavy in Sivas, Kayseri, and Kahramanmaraş. Citizens are advised to be careful and take precautions.
