Transportation Measures Announced for Eid al-Adha!

Transportation measures for Eid al-Adha have been announced!
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that all over Turkey, measures will be taken to ensure safe and uninterrupted transportation during the holiday. Restrictions will be imposed on heavy vehicles such as trucks, tow trucks, and tankers on certain routes.
Minister Uraloğlu stated that road construction and maintenance works will be halted during the holiday period to ensure smooth traffic flow. Additionally, the road conditions will be updated on the General Directorate of Highways' website.
It was also announced that inspections will be increased to prevent issues with bus ticket availability and exorbitant prices. Furthermore, free services will be provided on Marmaray and other rail systems in Istanbul during the holiday.
To ensure safety in transportation, drivers are reminded to use winter tires. It was emphasized that tired and sleepy drivers should not hit the road.
Minister Uraloğlu wished that the holiday brings peace and happiness, and he extended his best wishes for safe travels to all citizens.
