CHP Chairman Özgür Özel criticized the pension bonus increase as insufficient. He called for early elections, emphasizing that the public has run out of patience.

Özel stated, 'The public has no strength left to endure, the knife is at the bone. Therefore, the sooner the ballot box comes, the sooner the people's faces will smile.'

Speaking at an iftar program in Ankara, Özel expressed that raising the pension holiday bonus to 4,000 TL is insufficient.

Özel also addressed the events in Syria, stating that Turkey should not remain silent on this issue.
