The retirement bonus has been increased by 1,000 lira to 4,000 lira. This increase will raise the total bonuses for retirees during Ramadan and Kurban Bayramı to 8,000 lira.

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that the bonuses will be deposited into accounts as soon as they pass in Parliament. This year, retirees are expected to receive their bonuses between March 24-28.

Minister Işıkhan noted that this increase will add 28.4 billion lira to the 2025 budget. This increase is a significant support for retirees.

The retirement bonus will reach approximately 16 million retirees. This increase is seen as an important step to improve the living standards of retirees.
