According to AFAD and Kandilli Observatory, the earthquake occurred at 01:24 in Sulusaray. The depth of the earthquake was measured at 7.02 km.

According to the recent earthquake list, several minor tremors have also been experienced in Tokat in recent days. This indicates ongoing underground activity.
